Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English for FMCSA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid FMCSA physical certification.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL for interstate driving.
• Two (2) years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• 50 lb lifting requirement.
• Ability to use a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift activities and review schedules; verify loads.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Safely operate the tractor-trailer in compliance with laws and company policy.
• Plan trips using maps or GPS to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Load/unload freight at customer locations and coordinate with store personnel.
• Complete required paperwork and refuel and secure equipment after shifts.
