Job summary

The Brick Company is hiring a Building Materials Driver in the Greater New Orleans area to deliver brick, block, stone, pavers, and related masonry supplies to residential and commercial sites. You will operate CDL delivery vehicles, secure loads, and provide outstanding customer service while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL with a clean record, at least 3 years of delivery experience, and forklift/moffett familiarity.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of three years of experience operating flatbed/boom trucks or similar delivery vehicles.
• Forklift or truck-mounted forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and safe driving practices.
• Familiarity with brick, block, stone, masonry materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL delivery vehicles (flatbed, boom trucks, forklifts) to transport building materials.
• Deliver brick, block, stone, pavers, and related supplies to customer locations.
• Secure loads and inspect cargo for safety; perform pre/post-trip inspections and DOT logs.
• Unload materials using forklifts or pallet jacks; verify delivery tickets for accuracy.
• Communicate delivery schedules and conditions to dispatch and customers; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
