Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on designated routes and provide prompt waste removal services. The role requires daily vehicle inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of reports such as VCRs and productivity sheets.

The ideal candidate will maintain professionalism with customers and exhibit strong time management to meet service expectations while adhering to company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Ability to safely operate heavy trucks and follow safety policies.
• Good communication and professional demeanor with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers on schedule.
• Load and dispose of waste, operate packer blade, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers.
• Maintain productivity reports and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Follow safety policies and participate in company safety programs.
