Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes to service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor, disposing of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste for unsafe materials and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Complete route sheets, VCRs, and other required reports.
