Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a licensed Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver timely, courteous waste removal for customers in the Concord, NC area. The role requires performing pre- and post-operation inspections, following safety standards, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.

You will interact with customers and dispatchers to service routes efficiently while adhering to all company and regulatory

Qualifications

• Valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to comply with safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and service each customer.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Transport waste to designated disposal sites following route sheets and dispatch guidance.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Complete required reports such as VCRs and productivity sheets.
• Adhere to all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain vehicle condition and report any defects promptly.

Education
