Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home, with a schedule that typically runs 10–12 hours Monday through Friday and home daily. Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, compliance with regulations and company policies, and safe loading/unloading of waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports maintenance needs.
• Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
