Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) in Houston to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, perform daily vehicle condition reports, and adhere to all regulatory requirements while delivering courteous customer service.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes and involves regular route driving, safety-focused duties, and active participation in safety programs to maintain high service

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate a collection truck along designated routes and service customers as scheduled.
• Load and unload waste, operate the packer blade, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity reports and vehicle condition reports daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in company safety programs.
