Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver – CDL-B in Quincy, IL to operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle safety, follow safety policies, and complete daily reports while serving customers on your route.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated routes to disposal site.
• Load refuse and operate packer blade in line with safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers on a daily basis.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag per procedures.
• Complete required route productivity sheets and VCRs as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
