Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver courteous, complete waste removal services. This role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety regulations, and timely reporting of vehicle condition.

Responsibilities include route servicing, operating the packer, and maintaining productivity with accurate reports. Minimum CDL-B with air brakes endorsement is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Ability to safely operate and inspect a heavy truck.
• Excellent customer service and professional conduct on routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the truck along designated routes and service customers as scheduled.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose materials at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and colleagues to maintain service standards.
• Complete routine reports and maintain production and safety records.
