Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. seeks a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. This role ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards and requires daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) to address any defects promptly.

The position emphasizes courteous customer interaction, adherence to safety policies, and accurate completion of route sheets and productivity records, supporting efficient, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record (no major violations).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment and gauges are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the assigned route and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to all safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
