Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver with a CDL-B to operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role emphasizes safety checks, compliance with regulations, and accurate reporting of vehicle conditions daily.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, on-route service, loading waste, and maintaining high customer service standards while adhering to safety policies and route efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrated safety compliance and ability to complete daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate heavy truck on assigned route and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the packer and disposal tasks safely.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag accordingly.
• Monitor waste quality and maintain vehicle readiness at all times.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and required reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and company rules.
