Job summary

Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on designated routes and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with safety standards before each shift.

The role emphasizes proactive vehicle inspections, accurate reporting, and strong customer service. A valid CDL‑B with air brakes endorsement is required, along with a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer on the route.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely, professional service.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures.
