Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a CDL B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. The role requires adherence to safety standards, driving regulations, and daily vehicle condition reporting.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure routes are serviced timely and professionally.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports; maintain adherence to productivity standards.
