Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. The role requires adherence to safety standards, completion of daily vehicle condition reports, and courteous customer interactions on assigned routes.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, loading refuse, and complying with all regulations. The position requires strong time management and teamwork within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Experience operating heavy trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle per policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at the facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste quality and conditions on routes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness around the packer blade and body.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and VCRs as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures at all times.
• Follow the company’s safety standards and ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
