Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a CDL‑B Driver to safely operate collection trucks and provide courteous waste removal services to customers. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of route sheets and VCRs.

Responsibilities include loading waste, following dispatch instructions, and maintaining vehicle readiness while upholding company safety policies and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform full pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes, following route sheets and dispatch guidance to service customers.
• Load refuse using the packer, operate the loader controls, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain and tag waste containers, monitor for unacceptable waste, and document on reports.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
