Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt waste removal services. The role requires conducting pre- and post-operation inspections, loading waste, operating the packer, and disposing at the facility while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Willingness to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service customers.
• Operate packer/loader to lift and dispose of material.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers.
• Complete required route sheets and VCRs; maintain productivity standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
