Job summary

KRG in Kernersville, NC is seeking a CDL B Driver / Vac Truck Operator to join our field team. You will operate vacuum trucks, support storm and sewer line maintenance, and work outdoors with state-of-the-art equipment.

This role offers a stable schedule, opportunities for overtime, and travel as needed. Must have a Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement; manual transmission skills and physical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and performing storm/sewer line maintenance is required.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Must be physically capable of lifting 70+ pounds.
• Team-oriented and reliable with a willingness to travel.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate VAC truck equipment; ~20% driving, ~80% maintenance support.
• Perform hands-on tasks such as lifting manhole lids and entering manholes when needed.
• Operate VAC truck hydraulics and boom following safety protocols.
