XKIG in North Carolina is seeking a Bucket Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. A valid CDL is required, with DOT medical card, and willingness to travel for storm restoration work.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, daily maintenance, and teamwork under the direction of a Foreperson. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass background and drug tests, and be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have active CDL.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Willing to travel for storm restoration work when needed.
• Demonstrates safe operating practices and daily maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for the day.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Clean up and dispose of debris daily.
• Set up barriers, warning signs, and markers for safety.
• Track and report mileage to Foreperson.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
