US Foods is seeking a CDL B Delivery Driver in Buffalo, NY. You will safely navigate highway and city streets, back into docks, and unload with precision while delivering trust and reliability to our customers.

Earn $30.02/hour starting, increasing to $34.02/hour at 1 year, with a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires. Schedule: Tue–Sat, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery preferred.

Position Overview

You'll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL B Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it's about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Driving : Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unloading : Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas - 100% touch freight.
• Delivery Verification : Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.
• Customer Service : Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Equipment Inspection : Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Account Management : Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.
• Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.
• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.
• Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months' commercial driving experience or three months' commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $32.02/hr and 34.02/hr.

As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation, retention bonus.
