Safety-Kleen in South Bend, IN is hiring a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee. The role trains to drive a Class B box truck, performing onsite service for parts washers, picking up hazardous waste, and selling products along a defined route.

The company offers CDL sponsorship and comprehensive benefits. DOE pay rate of $23-24/hr with sponsorship, plus benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
• Must meet facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsabilités

• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT requirements.
