Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Street Sweeper in Oak Park, MI to operate street-sweeping equipment on assigned routes and ensure safe, efficient performance. You will follow schedules, complete inspections, and communicate with supervisors while supporting public safety and environmental quality.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid CDL-B with DOT Medical Card, and at least 21 years old. Benefit details and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Pass MVR, background check and drug screening as per policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Route Execution on assigned routes with timely, quality work.
• Safety & inspections before/after trips and ensure equipment is safe.
• Operate equipment safely and follow traffic/site protocols.
• Report equipment issues and complete logs and paperwork accurately.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, teammates, and clients.
• Maintain adaptability and regular attendance.
