Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring a Day Street Sweeper (CDL B) in Houston, TX for a full-time position. You will own assigned routes, operate the street sweeper, and follow safety procedures to ensure clean and safe streets. A DOT Medical Card and CDL-B are required.

Qualifications

• Safety inspections before/after trips and adherence to safety features.
• Plan routes and complete jobs within allotted time with quality and attention to detail.
• Operate equipment safely and follow traffic laws and site protocols.
• Handle materials safely and dispose properly.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with team, supervisors, and clients.
• Complete required logs, manifests, and forms accurately.
• Adapt to changes and problem-solve effectively.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Execution: Review routes and complete assigned jobs within the timeframe.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate street sweeper and specialized equipment.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and dispose per procedures.
• Reporting: File issues or injuries within 30 minutes and escalate when needed.
• Professional Communication: Interact professionally with team and clients.
• Compliance & Documentation: Keep logs and forms up to date.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and resolve issues.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: On-time and prepared for shifts.
