Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in San Antonio, TX seeks a Street Sweeper (CDL B) for full-time, flexible hours. You will operate a street sweeper, own your routes, and help keep city streets clean and safe.

Compensation is $19–$20 per hour, with first pay raise at 6 months. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of DOT driving experience, CDL-B and DOT Medical Card, and the ability to pass MVR, background, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience preferred.
• CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card required.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass MVR, background, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safety & inspection: pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Execute routes, complete jobs on time with quality.
• Operate street sweeper safely and follow traffic/site rules.
• Handle materials safely and dispose per procedures.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with team and clients.
• Accurately complete logs and forms.
• Adapt to changes and solve problems timely.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
