Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a CDL-B Route Service Driver to service portable restrooms and sanitation equipment around Richmond, VA. You will complete daily routes, perform on-site moves, and ensure timely, safe delivery and pickup with professional customer contact.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, fueling, and maintaining clean, well-presented units. Requirements: CDL-B with safe driving record, 2+ years DOT-regulated driving, strong

Qualifications

• A valid Class B CDL and safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction and recommendations for additional services.
• Maintain professional appearance and housekeeping of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
