Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a portable sanitation Route Service Driver in Manassas, VA. The role involves servicing portable restrooms and related equipment, performing daily routes, and maintaining professional customer contact under safety standards.

Responsibilities include onsite repairs, moving equipment, pre/post-trip inspections, and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and safe driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Safety oriented and able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units.
• Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction and recommendations for additional services.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
