Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Portable Sanitation Route Service Driver (CDL-B) to service portable restrooms and sanitation equipment in the Columbia, SC area.

You will complete daily routes, perform on-site moves, inspections, and maintenance while maintaining professional customer contact and adherence to safety guidelines. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL license and a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and mount/dismount trucks.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as necessary.
• Maintain professional customer contact and communicate with Dispatch.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
