Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL-B Route Service Driver to service portable sanitation equipment in Ladson, SC. You will clean, stock, and move portable restrooms, attend to water systems, and ensure timely routes with professional customer contact.

Responsibilities include onsite maintenance, pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinating with dispatch. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in all weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL-B license and safe driving record
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial Driving Experience
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary
• Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs
• Load and unload units
• Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary
• Frequent customer interaction and recommending additional services
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Other duties as assigned
