Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a CDL-B Route Service Driver for Reliable Onsite Services to service portable restrooms and sanitation equipment. You will complete daily routes, perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload units, and maintain safety and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

A valid Class B CDL driver's license and safe driving record.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required.
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Repair portable restroom units on site as necessary.
Provide onsite moves of equipment and handle pick-up/delivery as requested.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain truck logs.
Load and unload units and fuel vehicles and equipment as necessary.
Maintain professional demeanor and appearance; ensure safety procedures are followed.
Interact with customers and offer additional services and supplies as needed.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures and drop off/pick up equipment for customers.
