Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Dolomite, AL seeks a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee. This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pickup hazardous waste, and sell products along a defined route.

As part of onboarding, you will attend a 5-day Safety Kleen Academy in Elgin, IL; airfare, hotel, and meals are provided. Company-paid CDL training and opportunities to advance are offered.

Qualifications

• CDL B required within 180 days (training paid by company).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Switch 15- & 30-gallon drums at customer locations.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Sustain health and safety practices in all tasks.
• Generate leads and sell products to existing accounts.
• Travel as needed and comply with DOT regulations.
