Safety-Kleen in Dolomite, AL, is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee who will train to drive a Class B box truck, provide onsite service for parts washer machines, and sell products and services on a defined route. The company will pay for CDL training and offers a 5-day academy in Elgin, IL.

Attendance is mandatory, with airfare, hotel, and meals provided during academy. On completion, opportunities exist for growth within the Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbors organization.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required within 180 days of employment.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently with time management.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Background check, drug test and physical as required.
• Willingness to travel and attend 5-day academy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the #1 priority and follow safe work practices.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Follow local, state and federal compliance regulations.
