Job summary

Airgas is hiring a CDL B Route Driver for Perry, FL. The role involves delivering compressed gas cylinders to local customers, loading/unloading, and providing excellent customer service from a branch in Perry. Home daily with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 7:30am start.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat (or able to obtain in 60 days from hire date)
• Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions in the last 3 years (or one conviction + one at-fault accident)

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies
• Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers
• Support deliveries in a timely manner
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart
