Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Cocoa, FL is seeking a CDL B Route Delivery Driver to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers using a company-provided vehicle.

The role involves loading/unloading, frequent hand-cart movement, and strong interaction with customers. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with possible weekend work, offering a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, and paid time off after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain within 60 days from hire date) & Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in the last 3 years; or no more than one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No DUI within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with equipment.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of completion from trucking school within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders, Dewars and supplies.
• Nurture courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Support deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders.
• Complete deliveries on customer property using a hand cart; emphasizes the physically active nature of the role.
• Drivers will frequently move in and out of their vehicle.
