Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to drive professionally.
• Hold a Class A or Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement or able to obtain within 60 days.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Successfully complete Airgas background and motor vehicle check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification required from previous employers.
• Must be able to lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along routes.
• Collect empty cylinders and address customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Record transactions accurately and obtain customer signatures.
• Load and unload materials and maintain proper documentation.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Airgas during deliveries.
