Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. in Asheville, NC, is hiring a Roll off Driver with a CDL-B for safe operation of a collection truck and courteous waste removal service. You will ensure vehicle safety and complete daily reports while maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will perform inspections, load and dispose waste, and interact with customers and dispatchers. A proactive, safety-minded driver is essential for reliable on-time routes and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle per policy and report issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along your route and service each customer as assigned.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor to dispose at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Monitor waste for unsafe materials and maintain vehicle readiness.
