Interstate Waste Services, Inc. in Danbury, CT is hiring CDL B commercial roll-off truck drivers. The role requires 1 year of roll-off experience and the ability to drive a manual transmission.

Pay is $25.00 to $32.00 per hour with early start times and Monday–Friday shifts, occasional Saturdays. Highlights include a full benefits package with paid time off, year-round steady work, and an early start around 4am or 5am.

Formación

• One year of CDL driving experience within the last seven years.
• Must have a valid CDL (Class A or B) with airbrake endorsement.
• 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent safety record and clean MVR.
• Experience with DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.
• Ability to speak and read English to communicate with the public and complete reports.
• Ability to understand maps and navigate routes.
• Willingness to work weekends and variable hours as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate front, side, or rear-loading trucks for waste or recycling pickups.
• Transport material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities as required.
• Perform frequent back-up maneuvers and operate in congested areas.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure truck safety compliance.
• Work with both manual and automatic trucks as assigned.
