Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is hiring CDL B Roll Off Truck Drivers in New Jersey. The role requires 1 year of verifiable CDL driving within the last 7 years, a clean safety record, and Airbrake endorsement.

Typical shifts run Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and an early 6am start. Driver responsibilities include operating front, side or rear-loading trucks, transporting waste or recyclables to disposal or recycling facilities, and meeting physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement.
• 1-year CDL driving experience within the last 7 years.
• Excellent safety record and clean MVR.
• Experience with a refuge company is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front, side or rear-loading trucks for pickup of waste or recyclables.
• Transport material to disposal, transfer or recycling facilities and complete trips as required.
• Operate both manual and automatic trucks.
• Meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering up to 100 lbs.
