Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. The driver must ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete VCRs daily.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, reading route sheets, loading refuse, and maintaining productive routes while upholding safety policies. Minimum requirement is a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate heavy collection truck on designated route and service customers per route sheet.
• Read route sheets, follow maps, and load refuse while adhering to safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
