Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a motivated Class B driver to service Taylor, MI and surrounding areas. You will collect medical waste containers, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain compliance with DOT rules while operating up to a 26 ft truck.

This full-time role offers stable hours, opportunities for overtime, and benefits starting on day one. Expect 40–45 hours weekly with a set hourly rate in a healthcare-focused logistics environment.

Qualifications

• CDL B License Required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is advantageous.
• Willingness to work full-time hours (~40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Passing the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse 7 Year Review.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with strong customer focus.
• Experience operating large vehicles (up to 26 ft box trucks).
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Operate vehicles in a safe manner.
• Complete deliveries on time and communicate changes or challenges.
• Loading and unloading.
• Prioritize and organize the truck per schedule.
• Manage a route per leadership direction.
• Deliver timely, efficient and effective service.
• Comply with DOT regulations and inspections.
• Heavy lifting as needed.
