Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Class B driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Taylor, MI area. You will collect medical waste containers, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain safe driving practices with strict DOT compliance.

The role offers stable hours, potential OT, and comprehensive benefits. Expect a full-time schedule Monday–Friday around 2 PM until finish, with a $25 per hour rate and a $3,000 sign-on bonus payable over the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is a plus.
• Willingness to work full-time (approx. 40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Must pass DOT drug/alcohol clearinghouse checks (7-year review).
• Flexible, customer-focused with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Operate 26 ft box trucks in a safe manner.
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Load and unload cargo; organize truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and log hours; handle roadside inspections.
