Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Lowell, MA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B). The role involves delivering to customers, handling freight, and completing paperwork with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain records, and lift up to 75 pounds while building strong customer relationships to support business goals. A CDL B with hazmat endorsement is required or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid Class B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Able to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Able to push, pull, move, and lift minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify and report needs for vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business objectives.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.
