Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Oakland, NJ to safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders and to build strong relationships with customers. You will operate from a branch or plant using a company-provided truck, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred or willingness to obtain.
• One year of Class B professional driving experience in last five years or equivalent driving school diploma.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read MSDS.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs and occasionally more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders to customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pickups with signatures.
• Adhere to safety standards and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse/dock support as needed.
