Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver for Oakland, NJ. The role involves safely delivering compressed gas cylinders from a branch or plant, maintaining accurate delivery records, and upholding safety standards.

You will build relationships with customers and support warehouse duties as needed. The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift with quarterly bonuses and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them.
• At least 1 year of Class B driving experience within last 5 years with clean record.
• Must be 21 years or older; able to read MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders at customer locations.
• Record deliveries and signatures on manifests; handle returns of cylinders for refilling.
• Adhere to Airgas safety standards and applicable regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse/dock support as needed.
