Job summary

Airgas in Dickinson, ND seeks a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to local customers and support warehouse operations. You will build relationships with customers while ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL B with hazmat/airbrake endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and the ability to lift heavy cylinders with assistance when needed. Benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements or able to obtain within 90 days from hire date.
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in the last 3 years or one at-fault accident and one conviction.
• Must be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with assistance.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or trucking-school completion in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record deliveries and pickups on a load manifest and obtain customer signatures.
• Adhere to safety standards and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse or dock support as needed.
