Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to customers and maintain relationships. The driver will also assist in warehouse operations as needed. Applicants must possess a valid Class B CDL and experience with hazardous cargo.

The position offers a Monday-Friday day shift and a wide range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Class B professional driving experience within the last five years.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.

Skills

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License

Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement

Reading comprehension of safety data sheets

Ability to lift 25-75 lbs
