Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Manassas, VA. The role involves safely delivering compressed gas cylinders to customer sites from a plant, with a focus on safety and accuracy in documentation.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid CDL A with Hazmat endorsement (or willing to obtain), have at least one year of Class A driving experience, and be at least 21. The position offers a day shift, five days a week, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
• Hazmat Endorsement (or willing to obtain).
• One year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with clean driving record (or two at-fault accidents in last three years; or one conviction and one at-fault).
• D.L. 21+ years old.
• Ability to read MSDS and understand safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record deliveries and pickups with signatures on a manifest; return empty/rejected cylinders for refilling.
• Adhere to Airgas safety standards and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse or dock support as needed.
