Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Environmental Driver Specialist CDLB in Fredericksburg, VA to safely pack, transport, and dispose of hazardous and pharmaceutical waste on an established route. The role requires travel, overnight stays, and adherence to DOT and EPA regulations.

Qualified candidates will hold a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and pass DOT medical and background checks. A sign-on bonus is offered and relocation or per diem may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hazmat endorsement required for transporting waste.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Characterize, segregate, package and document hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste.
• Travel between customer retail facilities within assigned territory.
• Manage waste processing, packaging, manifests and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain schedule to meet 10 day transfer cycles and routes.
• Provide training and regulatory compliance support to customers.
• Report in writing and verbally to customers and supervisor.
