Job summary

Republic Services in Haltom City, Texas, is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to operate a collection truck safely and efficiently while delivering courteous waste removal services to customers. You will follow safety standards, regulatory requirements, and complete daily VCRs and reports.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route, read the route sheet, follow the map, and service each customer as identified on the sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher or supervisor.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
• Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain adherence to required productivity standards to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
