Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a CDL-B Fleet Operations Driver for the Second Shift in Omaha. You will operate, maintain and repair vehicles and equipment to support perioperative services, ensuring safe and reliable transportation. The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Required is a current CDL-B or the ability to obtain one within six months, plus insurability and strong troubleshooting and communication skills for a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL-B license or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Valid driver license and insurability required.
• Ability to operate vehicles with GVWR > 26,001 lb and hazardous materials handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair vehicles and equipment for perioperative services.
• Ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective transportation within the organization.
• Document maintenance and reporting as required.
