Job summary

Republic Services in Dayton, OH is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers on assigned routes.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, adhere to safety standards and regulations, complete VCRs and route reports, and maintain a professional attitude while serving customers and supporting the company’s safety programs.

Qualifications

• CDL-B or higher with air brakes endorsement.
• Safety standards and regulatory compliance required.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle per policy.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse using packer and dispose at designated facility.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity sheets.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.

Education
