Job summary

Republic Services in Union City, TN is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with safety standards before operation.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, route servicing, loading waste, maintaining reports, and adhering to safety policies. Minimum requirement: Class B CDL with air brakes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer/compactor, and dispose at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers daily.
• Complete required route sheets, VCRs and other reports.
